Workers of Nigerdock Nigeria Limited yesterday continued their peaceful protest with a call on the federal government to intervene on their behalf and save them from what they described as racist and oppressive administration by management.
The workers mostly contract staff and numbering over 500, said there were also protesting unfair labour practices of the all- white management, urging the federal government to take a drastic action on the expatriate manager who allegedly called the Nigerian workers "black monkeys", recently.
They also alleged that virtually all the departments and sections in the company, are occupied by expatriate managers at the expense of their Nigerian counterparts...
