This program gives us a surprising number of pieces for cello and different instruments. Alberto Ginastera's well-known Pampeana, Rhapsody 2, Op. 21, is played with atmosphere and verve by Lysy and Pezzone. Then the pianist goes out for a look at the ocean and we have Jose Bragata's tango, Graciela y Buenos Aires, a tasteful and catchy piece with solos for double bass as well as cello.
