The Iowa Department of Revenue has released the expanded instructions for Form IA 1040, which include information on personal income tax changes for the 201 1 tax year. The expanded instructions note that Iowa has not coupled with the bonus depreciation provisions allowed for federal tax purposes for the 2011 tax year. The expanded instructions also explain legislative changes, detail specific line changes, and address due dates for farmers and fishermen, military benefits and filing requirements, and payment options.
