Ariana Grande has the No.1 single for the fifth week in a row, with 7 Rings. The track - which ended an earlier three week reign when toppled by follow-up Break Up With Your Girlfriend, I'm Bored last week - returns to pole position, albeit with a 23.40% reduction in consumption to 61,891 units (including 57,548 from sales-equivalent streams). Although five other artists have replaced themselves at No.1 - The Beatles, John Lennon, Elvis Presley, Justin Bieber and Ed Sheeran - Grande is the first to do it two weeks in a row. Break Up With Your Girlfriend, I'm Bored drifts only one place however (1-2, 61,704 sales), meaning that Grande is the first female solo artist to have the Top 2 singles more than once. The 187 sales separating the two Grande hits is the second smallest margin between the Top 2 singles in the 2010s, being larger only than the 139 sales that separated Benny Blanco, Halsey & Khalid's Eastside (49,966 sales) from Calvin Harris & Sam Smith's Promises (49,827 sales) 25 weeks ago.
Recovering 6-4 for Calvin Harris & RagTVBone Man to revisit its peak...
