Of what other singers are like, Sylvia Smith has more than a listen's appreciation. Though "Woman of the World" is her first album, Sylvia began recording at 15, which is when she started making the roungs of Memphis studios looking for jobs as a background vocalist. Since then, she's been in "more studios than I can remember. There were times I didn't even know who the artist was."
However, Sylvia adds, "I have always been a success oriented person. Whatever I'm going to do, I am going to be at the top in it," And "Woman of the World" is clearly her first step toward new musical heights.
