Abstract

This thesis is concerned with the investigation of the efferent connections of the rostral part of the hypothalamus in three widely studied mammalian forms: the rat, the cat and the monkey. The studies were carried out using the recently developed physiological tracer techniques for central nervous system connections: the autoradiographic method and the horseradish peroxidase technique.
