Overview

Whatever other interests Henry M. Wheeler may have had during his lifetime, he was an excellent photographer who left behind a valuable photographic collection of historic sites, monuments, and important buildings in Massachusetts.

Historians and students will find photographs of churches, government buildings, public buildings, and the homes and birthplaces of famous Americans including Oliver Wendell Holmes, Daniel Webster, and Nathaniel Hawthorne.
