Though the presidency of John Fitzgerald _Jack_ Kennedy was brief, it was an administration that was rich in events of historical importance. Based on the documents at the John F. Kennedy Library in Boston, this series offers a look at the major domestic and foreign policy issues that Kennedy and his administration confronted. Highlights of this 25-volume series include the _Religion Question_ during the 1960 election, transcripts and other correspondence from the 1960 presidential debates, the beginnings of deeper involvement in Vietnam, the role of Jacqueline Kennedy as first lady, the U.S. space program, establishment of the Peace Corps, desegregation of the University of Alabama, and three volumes on the Cuban Missile Crisis.
