The subject catalogue of the world's foremost centre for the study of the British Empire, the Rhodes House Library Catalogue is a vital reference work for all researchers interested in the social, political and economic development of Africa and the Commonwealth.

With entries for some 175,000 printed works from 1760 to 1988, the Catalogue also contains subject references to most of the Rhodes House archive collections, many acquired through the Oxford Colonial Records Project and its successors including the private papers of former colonial administrators.

Detailed subject classification within each of 92 countries and regions allows quick and easy access to any subject within any country or region.
