Abstract

This essay aims to discuss the ontological, epistemological and methodological Management for the Development of regionalism. This course deals with the process of planning, organization, direction and control of actions, policies, projects and programs that are intended to stimulate or develop within a group or community awareness of belonging to a region. A fundamental ontological question of discipline refers to the concept of being regional in its essence, because the region can be understood as a social construction. Among the epistemological issues it raises, the most salient is the attempt to ensure objectivity when considering the region as a deception or an intellectual construct. Among the methodological issues are: the complexity of its subject, the difficulty of experimentation and quantification and expression of values. [PUBLICATION ABSTRACT]
