Abstract

The image has a function of veil, of

translucent surface in the presence

of death. Just like the inaugural

metaphor founds the speaker's

universe, the image establishes the

bar of repression while pointing

at what founds it. In the creative

act, the constitution of the metaphoric

image would function as a

device that, starting from an act

of the subject and the incision this

one creates, reorients the subject

towards a reconstruction, a new

structuration correlated to the

created object.
