Abstract
El objetivo del presente estudio consiste en determinar las características diferenciales de aquellas micro, pequeñas y medianas empresas argentinas en relación a sus decisiones en la toma de créditos a través de la banca privada y pública, a fines de contribuir a la literatura sobre este tema, abordada habitualmente desde el lado de la oferta. Para ello, se trabaja con una muestra de 105 empresas PyMEs que desarrollan sus actividades en la zona de Bahía Blanca, Argentina. Se realizan análisis bivariados y multivariados, concluyéndose que las empresas que emplean en mayor medida financiamiento en la banca pública son más pequeñas, tiene como clientes otras PyMEs o consumidores finales, y se financian en mayor proporción a largo plazo.//The objective of the present study is to determine the differential characteristics of those micro, small and medium-sized Argentine companies in relation to their decisions in the taking of credits through the private and public banks, in order to contribute to the literature on this subject, Usually tackled from the supply side. To do this, we work with a sample of 105 companies SMEs that develop their activities in the area of Bahía Blanca, Argentina. Bivariate and multivariate analyzes are carried out, with the conclusion that the companies that employ the most financing in public banking are smaller, have other SME clients or end consumers as clients and are financed in greater proportion in the long term.
