Objetos insólitos y espejos fantásticos en la ficción y estética de Ramón Gómez de la Serna

Abstract

El objetivo de este artículo es demostrar que los objetos insólitos constituyen una parte innegable en la estética de Ramón Gómez de la Serna. La representación del objeto en ficciones que se alejan de la realidad mimética ha pasado desapercibida en el ámbito de la crítica en la obra del autor, por lo que consideramos necesario enfatizar su importancia teniendo en cuenta las teorías más relevantes que han abordado lo insólito. Por otro lado, si bien otros autores recurren al espejo en algún momento en sus narraciones fantásticas, Gómez de la Serna también lo incluye en su narrativa con gran creatividad y forma parte de su propia experiencia y práctica teórica desde sus inicios literarios.

This study aims to demonstrate that unusual objects constitute an undeniable part of Ramón Gómez de la Serna’s aesthetics. The portrayal of these objects in works that diverge from mimetic reality has largely gone unnoticed in the critical analysis of the author’s oeuvre. Therefore, we find it essential to underscore their importance, considering more prominent theories that address the concept of the unusual. Additionally, while other authors resort to the fantastic mirror to incorporate it into their work, Gómez de la Serna includes it with great creativity and ingenuity. This approach has been an integral part of his experiences and theoretical practice from the beginning of his literary career.
