Abstract

[...]students disagreed with each other in relation to the benefits of talking whilst performing an OSCE task. [...]the participants would not have been available for a face-to-face evaluation following their final OSCE. [...]it cannot be stated with certainty that this intervention would be effective in ameliorating the levels of test anxiety associated with a summative OSCE. [...]this study reports only the experiences of a single cohort of students in one veterinary nursing course, making it difficult to generalize the findings.
