Abstract
Children and young people are considered as fundamental axes in society; the objective of this work was to analyze the practice of values in the family and its impact on the self-esteem of students of the Mixed Fiscal School Dr. Luis Cordero Crespo. A methodological design was used based on bibliographical and field methods, and as research techniques the survey directed to students, teachers and parents of family, and the interview directed to the director of the school; information that served to demonstrate that the practical scarcity of values in the family significantly affects the self-esteem of the students.
