Pedagogy and Didactics are two fields whose nature, means, and aims reflect the contemporary debate of education. Education aims to see the movement of freedom in nature, since it is self-determination. Daughter of modern thought, Pedagogy seeks to understand the goals of education. Product of a society of control, Didactics sets its limits in learning. These two concepts reveal -because of their nature- tensions, differences, and relationships. In this paper some notions about the configuration of these concepts are outlined and some ideas on the urgency of the contemporary debate are placed.
La pedagogía y la didáctica integran dos campos cuya naturaleza, medios y finalidades, reflejan el debate contemporáneo de la educación. La educación apunta a ver en la naturaleza el movimiento de la libertad, pues ésta es autodeterminación. Hija del pensamiento moderno, la pedagogía busca comprender las finalidades de la educación. Producto de la sociedad de control, la didáctica fija sus límites en el aprendizaje. Estos dos conceptos develan, por su naturaleza, fuertes tensiones, diferencias y relaciones. En este artículo se esbozan ciertas nociones de la configuración de estos conceptos y se sitúan algunas ideas en la urgencia del debate contemporáneo.
La pédagogie et la didactique constituent deux domaines dont la nature, les moyens et les objectifs reflètent le débat contemporain de l’éducation. L’éducation vise à voir dans la nature, le mouvement de la liberté puisque celle-ci est autodétermination. Fille de la pensée moderne, la pédagogie cherche à comprendre les objectifs de l’éducation. Résultat de la société de contrôle, la didactique fixe ses limites dans l’apprentissage. Ces deux concepts dévoilent, de par leur nature, de fortes tensions, des différences et relations.
