Dear readers,
This year, our international journal of maritime science and technology Naše more celebrates its 100th anniversary. The first issue of the journal Naše more was published in 1919. A short publishing period (only two years) was followed by a long interruption and it reappeared again in 1954. It has continually been published for 66 years now. It has been a very long and restless period. There are just a few specialized seafaring journals worldwide, published for such a long period and our publication may be considered to be both our maritime and cultural heritage.
The 2019 third issue contains some preliminary communications: the first one is written by the authors Katarina Ivanić and Mirano Hess titled Assessment of Efficiency of the North Adriatic Container Terminals. The second one is by author Wojciech Jurczak titled Passive Corrosion Protection of Al-Zn-Mg alloy in Seawater. The next one is by the group of authors Ivan Lorencin, Nikola Anđelić, Vedran Mrzljak, Zlatan Car titled Marine Objects Recognition Using Convolutional Neural Networks.
Also we have some review papers. The first one is written by the group of authors Mirko Čorić, Anita Gudelj, Zvonimir Lušić, Sadko Mandžuka titled E-Navigation Architecture Overview and Functional Connection Analysis. The next one is by the group of authors: Yusif Gasimov, Asif Pashayev, Bakhram Azizov, Latifa Agamalieva, Veronika Lacinová, Michal Šmerek titled Application of Decision-Making Expert Systems in Transportation. The last one is the group of authors: Sanjin Valčić, Srđan Žuškin, David Brčić, Davor Šakan titled An Overview of Recent Changes in the Global Maritime Distress and Safety System Regarding Maritime Mobile Satellite Service.
With this issue there is also a Supplement which is usually published once a year and contains four professional papers. The first one is by the group of authors: Antonia Kurtela, Nenad Antolović, Nikša Glavić, Valter Kožul titled Length-Weight Relations and Monthly Occurrence of Juvenile Fish Species from the Donji Molunat Bay, Croatia (South-East Adriatic Sea. The second one is by the group of authors: Myroslav Panchuk, Sviatoslav Kryshtopa, Aleksander Sladkowski, Liudmyla Kryshtopa, Nataliia Klochko, Taras Romanyshyn, Andrii Panchuk, Ilona Mandryk titled Efficiency of Production of Motor Biofuels for Water and Land Transport. The next one is by group of authors: Irina R. Tulyakova, Victor V. Dengov, Elena Gregova titled The Positions of Russia and Croatia Shipbuilding Products on World Markets and Prospects of Co-Operation (Analytical Overview). The last one is by Croatian author Marinko Ð. Učur titled Hrvatski pomorci na brodovima u međunarodnoj plovidbi sklopili nacionalni kolektivni ugovor (2019. - 2020.).
As you know, the papers published in our journal are indexed in various citation databases. We have been a Scopus indexed journal for over 15 years now, while recently our journal entered a WoS Core Collection (ESCI) base. Our main goal is to be accepted for inclusion in the Science Citation Index Expanded (SCI-E), which depends solely on the quality of the published articles. Therefore, authors are invited to help us accomplish that goal by striving to improve the quality of their articles with the original and concise subject matter elaborated in their papers.
Besides our publisher, The University of Dubrovnik, the journal is considerably supported by The Ministry of Science, Education and Sport of the Republic of Croatia. In addition to the support provided by The Ministry and our Editor, our sponsors are especially important, Atlanska plovidba being our longest continuous sponsor. Recently, the Society of Friends of Dubrovnik Antiques, Tourist Board of the City of Dubrovnik, DubrovnikNeretva County, Dubrovnik Airport and others have become our partners.
We are especially grateful for all support and cooperation, and above all, for the constructive comments, suggestions and remarks that help us sail full speed ahead in future.
Yours sincerely,
Neprekidno izlazi 66 godina do danas, tijekom dugoga i nemirnog vremenskog razdoblja. Treba podsjetiti da je tek nekoliko pomorskih časopisa na svijetu koji se tiskaju u tako dugom razdoblju pa se naša publikacija može smatrati jednako pomorskim kao i kulturnim nasljeđem.
Treći broj u 2019. sadrži nekoiko prethodnih priopćenja. Prvi je od domaćih autora: Katarine Ivanić I Mirano Hess pod naslovom Assessment of Efficiency of the North Adriatic Container Terminals. Drugi je od Wojciech Jurczak pod naslovom Passive Corrosion Protection of Al-Zn-Mg alloy in Seawater. Sljedeći je od više autora Ivan Lorencin, Nikola Anđelić, Vedran Mrzljak, Zlatan Car pod naslovom Marine Objects Recognition Using Convolutional Neural Networks.
Također imamo nekoliko preglednih radova. Prvi je od više domaćih autora: Mirko Čorić, Anita Gudelj, Zvonimir Lušić, Sadko Mandžuka pon naslovom E-Navigation Architecture Overview and Functional Connection Analysis. Sljedeći je od velike skupine autora: Yusif Gasimov, Asif Pashayev, Bakhram Azizov, Latifa Agamalieva, Veronika Lacinová, Michal Šmerek pod naslovom Application of Decision-Making Expert Systems in Transportation. Posljednji je od više domaćih autora: Sanjin Valčić, Srđan Žuškin, David Brčić, Davor Šakan pod naslovom An Overview of Recent Changes in the Global Maritime Distress and Safety System Regarding Maritime Mobile Satellite Service.
Uz ovaj broj ide i prilog (Spplement), kojega obično izdajemo jednom godišnje, a sadrži i stručne članke. Prvi je od skupine domaćih autora: Antonia Kurtela, Nenad Antolović, Nikša Glavić, Valter Kožul pod naslovom Length-Weight Relations and Monthly Occurrence of Juvenile Fish Species from the Donji Molunat Bay, Croatia (South-East Adriatic Sea. Drugi je od velike skupine autora: Myroslav Panchuk, Sviatoslav Kryshtopa, Aleksander Sladkowski, Liudmyla Kryshtopa, Nataliia Klochko, Taras Romanyshyn, Andrii Panchuk, Ilona Mandryk pod naslovom Efficiency of Production of Motor Biofuels for Water and Land Transport. Sljedeći je od trojice auora: Irina R. Tulyakova, Victor V. Dengov, Elena Gregova pod naslovom The Positions of Russia and Croatia Shipbuilding Products on World Markets and Prospects of Co-Operation (Analytical Overview). Posljednji je od domaćeg autora Marinka Ð. Učur pod naslovom Hrvatski pomorci na brodovima u međunarodnoj plovidbi sklopili nacionalni kolektivni ugovor (2019. - 2020.).
Uz našega izdavača, Sveučilišta u Dubrovniku, časopis znatno podržava Ministarstvo znanosti, obrazovanja i športa Republike Hrvatske. Nedavno su našim partnerima postali i Društvo prijatelja dubrovačke starine, Turistička zajednica Grada Dubrovnika, Dubrovačko-neretvanska županija, Zračna luka Dubrovnik i drugi .
