Abstract
La participación de científicos en las estrategias de política exterior ocupa pocas páginas en los estudios de relaciones internacionales de los países no hegemónicos. Este texto analiza un estudio de caso sobre la diplomacia de la ciencia de Serbia –un país no hegemónico, pequeño y sin recursos considerables–en el contexto de la cultura de la memoria como desafío global. Para ello, primero, se introducen algunos conceptos para interpretar la relación entre ciencia y diplomacia; segundo, se describe y analiza el caso y se presentan los mecanismos de articulación que permiten constatar la operatividad plausible de la diplomacia de la ciencia como espacio compartido para la consolidación de estrategias de política exterior; y, por último, se ofrece un balance y conclusiones.
