Abstract

Introduction Power generation using renewable energy sources has been a topic of utmost interest in recent years because of factors like global warming [1], pollution [2], and depletion of fossil fuel [3] among many others. Since the drive stroke generates maximum positive force and the recovery stroke experiences minimum force, maximum possible power can be harnessed using this principle. [...]an analogous rotary actuation mechanism is considered. [...]shadowing effects and fluid interactions between the blades are not considered in the analysis.
