Results. The interrelations between the indicators of social and psychological safety of the learning environment in sports school and structural components of sport motivation in young athleteshave beenrevealed. A significant tie-in between a motive to achieve success in sports and safety (.284; p <.05), motive for social self-assertion and satisfaction (.308; p <.05); civil and patriotic motive and safety (.356; p <. 01) has been determined.
