Abstract

Didier Anzieu's psychoanalytical concept of the «skin-self» and the notions about the body of Jean-Luc Nancy and Judith Butler offer an excellent theoretical approach for the analysis of the metamorphosis of Constanza, the protagonist of Paulette Jonguitud Acosta's Mildew (2010), allowing us to explore the narrative resources of a recent modality called the «narrative of the unusual». In this new category, the unusual element plays an important role in the recreation of an interior space projected outwards. Therefore, the purpose of this work is to show how subjectivity, skin and body are related in a literary manifestation of such unique characteristics. The invasion of mildew on Constanza's skin opens a window to the contemplation of the existential disorder in which she lives as an alienated subject. This circumstance finds its most significant mode of expression through the narrative of the unusual.

El análisis de la metamorfosis de Constanza, protagonista de Moho (2010) de Paulette Jonguitud Acosta, a la luz de los estudios psicoanalíticos de Didier Anzieu con su concepto del «Yo-piel» y las nociones sobre el cuerpo de Jean-Luc Nancy y Judith Butler, permite explorar los recursos narrativos de una modalidad reciente denominada «narrativa de lo inusual». En esta nueva categoría, el elemento insólito desempeña un papel destacado en la recreación del espacio interior proyectado hacia el afuera. Por ello, el propósito de este trabajo es mostrar cómo se relacionan la subjetividad, la piel y el cuerpo en una manifestación literaria de características tan singulares. La invasión de moho en la piel de Constanza abre una ventana a la contemplación del desorden existencial que vive como sujeto alienado. Esta circunstancia encuentra el modo más significativo de expresión a través de la narrativa de lo inusual.
