Corrupção organizacional e uma justificação decolonial para as práticas de whistleblowing

Abstract

Neste ensaio, exploramos as noções de corrupção organizacional e sua respectiva denúncia (whistleblowing), a partir do olhar decolonial trazido pelo filósofo Enrique Dussel. Visamos responder a seguinte pergunta: Como a noção de Parousía, de Enrique Dussel, pode prover uma justificação teórica para as práticas de whistleblowing? Apresentamos a visão das organizações como instâncias de mediação, que possuem existência delegada e que devem cumprir certos requisitos para serem legitimadas. Em seguida, exploramos como a corrupção organizacional deriva de um exercício fetichizado do poder. Observamos que o ato de whistleblowing pode ser visto como um impulso de alteridade em que o sujeito, ainda que a custo de sua própria vida e bem-estar, é guiado pela responsabilidade com o outro. Práticas de whistleblowing, quando analisadas à luz do pensamento de Dussel, podem ser justificadas como o desejo de superação das injustiças individuais por um dever ético de servir ao coletivo.

In this essay, we explored the notions of organizational corruption and its respective whistleblowing, based on the decolonial view brought by the philosopher Enrique Dussel. We aim to answer the following question: How Enrique Dussel’s notion of Parousía can provide a theoretical justification for whistleblowing practices? We present the view of organizations as instances of mediation, which have delegated existence, and which must meet certain requirements to be legitimized. Then, we explore how organizational corruption derives from a fetishized exercise of power. We observed that the act of whistleblowing can be seen as an impulse of otherness in which the subject, even at the cost of his/her own life and well-being, is guided by responsibility towards the other. Whistleblowing practices, when analyzed in the light of Dussel’s thinking, can be justified as the desire to overcome individual injustices by an ethical duty to serve the collective.
