Abstract

According to previous studies, metabolic status is strongly associated with GBPs. [...]multiple polyps seem unlikely to transform. [...]number of GBPs is an important factor that affects the treatment of GBPs. According to laboratory tests [Supplementary Table 2, http://links.lww.com/CM9/A296], the number of patients with hypertriglyceridemia (triglyceride [TG] ≥2.3 mmol/L) was 71/1002 (7.08%) in the single GBP group and 44/350 (12.57%) in the multiple GBP group, and the difference was statistically significant (χ2 = 10.0298, P = 0.022) [Supplementary Table 2, http://links.lww.com/CM9/A296].
