Abstract

The TZDs also leads to an increase in the secretion of adiponectin and a decrease in the production of inflammatory mediators such as tumor necrosis factor-alpha (TNF-α), plasminogen activator inhibitor-1(PAI-1) and interleukin-6 (IL-6). [...]chemical modification on this heterocycle led to a class of compounds that possess several biological activities including, anti-inflammatory effects [8], antibacterial [9–12], antitubercular [13], and antifungal activity [9]. [...]simple structure and valuable pharmacological activity of these molecules gained special attention from synthetic chemists and pharmacologists [20]. [...]a facile efficient process is still desirable.
