Abstract

Promising work [9] succeeded in targeting a non-conserved allosteric site on the highly-conserved (with conserved active site) enzyme, which makes the compounds all the more interesting due to the possibility of a higher selectivity index against the human enzyme, as well as being able to permeate the mycobacterial cell wall.
