Abstract

The Multidimensional Emotional Disorder Inventory (MEDI) was developed to efficiently evaluate the dimensions proposed by the hybrid model (neurotic temperament, positive temperament, depressed mood, autonomic arousal, somatic anxiety, social anxiety, intrusive cognitions, traumatic re-experiencing, and avoidance) and already has validity evidence in Spain. The objective of this article is to describe this dimensional evaluation tool and compare its results with those obtained according to DSM-5 criteria in a clinical case series. Keywords: Classification systems; diagnosis; emotional disorders; hybrid approach; dimensional assessment; transdiagnostic. Estos enfoques permiten combinar varios atributos, favoreciendo una mayor individualización y ofreciendo información más exhaustiva (Lemos, 1995).
