Abstract
Cette contribution se propose de revenir sur deux catégories qui apparaissent centrales en analyse du discours pour penser l’articulation du discours et de son « extérieur » : la « formation discursive » et le « genre de discours ». Après avoir rappelé comment et pourquoi, dans l’histoire de l’analyse du discours, la seconde catégorie est apparue plus opératoire que la première, nous essaierons de montrer, en nous appuyant sur une recherche portant sur des rapports éducatifs, comment l’on peut, en partant des « genres », saisir des déterminations liées aux « formations discursives ».
Resumen
"Discourse genre" and/or "discursive formation": which articulation? This contribution aims to revisit two categories that have appeared to be central in discourse analysis in order to conceptualize the articulation of discourse and its "exterior": "discursive formation" and "discourse genre". After recalling how and why, in the history of discourse analysis, the second category has appeared to be more operative than the first, we will discuss, on the basis of a recent investigation, how it is possible to identify determinations linked to "discursive formations" on the basis of "genres".
