Abstract

The compressor fixed plate in the refrigerator plays an important role in carrying the compressor and connecting various parts, which is very important to the structure of the refrigerator. In this paper, the finite element (FE) software ABAQUS is used to check the strength of the compressor base plate of thicknesses of 1.2 mm and 1.5 mm. Firstly, the model establishment and mesh treatment method of the fixed plate of the refrigerator compressor is introduced, then the load and constraints are described. Finally, the FE analysis is carried out, and the plates of 1.2 mm and 1.5 mm thicknesses are contrasted, respectively. And the stress-strain diagrams are obtained, which provide a theoretical basis for the design and optimization of the compressor fixed plate.
