Abstract
El presente artículo ofrece una crítica a formas de pensamiento que privilegian la espacialidad continental, tal y como frecuentemente ocurre en la filosofía “europea moderna”, entre otras áreas. Se propone un giro decolonial en la filosofía y el pensar teórico crítico que permita apreciar las contribuciones de formas de pensamiento que surgen desde y apuntan hacia la relevancia de otros espacios, tales como los fronterizos, archipelágicos y marítimos. El giro decolonial identifica y critica dinámicas raciales y coloniales al igual que fomenta formas de pensamiento, acción y ser contracoloniales o decoloniales con la meta de contribuir a la descolonización de los espacios y formas de pensamiento moderno/coloniales.
