Abstract

Conclusion: Adequate knowledge and positive attitude toward COVID-19 vaccines was observed among general population. Knowledge; Attitude; Practice; Acceptance; COVID-19 Vaccine INTRODUCTION Coronavirus disease (COVID-19) was recognized by the World Health Organization (WHO) on March 11, 2020 and pathogen is currently called as severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus-2 (SARS-CoV-2), single-stranded, and enveloped RNA virus which has polygenetic resemblance to SARS-CoV-l.|i : [...]the objective of this study was formulated to provide an overview regarding the knowledge, attitude, and practice (KAP) and acceptability toward COVID-19 infection as well as COVID-19 vaccination among the semi-urban population in Puducherry (Ariyur and Villianur). Data collection was conducted using a study questionnaire which comprises demographic data, family history, vaccination status, and the questions assessing KAP and acceptance both in English and vernacular language (Tamil).
