Abstract

According to prior studies, reproductive stage of rice is the most sensitive to water deficiency (Kumar et al., 2021). [...]15 rice genotypes were selected for the study to evaluate drought tolerance level through biochemical markers at the reproductive growth stage. [...]the seeds of all genotypes were surface sterilized through immersion in 70% ethanol for 30 s. The seeds were then rinsed once with distilled water to remove the ethanol. [...]seeds were rinsed with sterile distilled water four to five times.
