Abstract

El objetivo de la presente investigación es analizar cómo se asocia la salud mental con las habilidades socioemocionales en estudiantes de bachillerato y universitarios producto de la pandemia de la COVID 19. La investigación es cuantitativa, el diseño es no experimental, descriptivo, transversal, correlacional., la muestra la conforman 408 estudiantes de bachillerato y 152 estudiantes universitarios. El muestreo es estratificado por conglomerado, analizándose las habilidades socioemocionales: estado de ánimo, control de estrés, adaptabilidad, habilidades interpersonales e intrapersonales. Los resultados indicaron que los estudiantes con alta salud tienden a desarrollar dichas habilidades, en cambio los estudiantes con deterioro en la salud tienden a presentar estrés, ansiedad y bajo estado de ánimo.

The objective of this research is to analyze how mental health is associated with socio-emotional skills in high school and university students as a result of the COVID 19 pandemic. The research is quantitative, the design is non-experimental, descriptive, cross-sectional, correlational. , the sample is made up of 408 high school students and 152 university students. The sampling is stratified by conglomerate, analyzing socio-emotional skills: mood, stress control, adaptability, interpersonal and intrapersonal skills. The results indicated that students with high health tend to develop these skills, whereas students with deterioration in health tend to present stress, anxiety and low mood.
