El rock en Educación Primaria: propuesta didáctica para la asignatura de Música en relación con este género popular

Abstract

En este artículo se muestra el desarrollo y la puesta en práctica en el aula de una secuencia didáctica en torno a la música rock. Junto a la puesta en práctica de la misma, se realizará una revisión del proceso seguido, reflexionando sobre el mismo. El rock ha sido establecido como temática principal por varias razones, siendo una de las más importantes lo motivador que resulta este género musical cuando se utiliza con fines didácticos. Además, aunque existan otros géneros más escuchados entre la música popular, es el rock uno de los más respetados y reconocidos por albergar un gran valor cultural. Metodológicamente se plantea una secuencia de actividades basadas en este género, desarrollando el currículo de Primaria en la Región de Murcia. Durante las actividades, se realizarán infografías a través de la plataforma en línea «Canva», se acompañarán canciones de rock utilizando instrumentos de percusión de altura indeterminada (PAI) y se crearán coreografías para temas del mismo género musical. Entre los métodos y metodologías que servirán de base a estas actividades encontramos el «Aprendizaje Cooperativo», el «Orff-Schulwerk» y la «Audición Musical Activa». Los resultados muestran la efectividad de este género en su aplicación al aula, concluyéndose la necesidad de indagar más y profundizar con nuevas situaciones de aprendizaje.

This article shows the development and implementation in the classroom of a teaching unit around rock music. Along with their implementation, a review of the process followed will be carried out, reflecting on it. Rock has been established as the main theme for several reasons, one of the most important being how motivating this musical genre is when used for educational purposes. Furthermore, although there are other genres that are more listened to among popular music, rock is one of the most respected and recognized for harboring great cultural value. Methodologically, a sequence of activities based on this genre is proposed, developing the Primary curriculum in the Region of Murcia. During the activities, infographics will be made through the online platform «Canva», rock songs will be accompanied using percussion instruments of indeterminate height (PAI) and choreographies will be created for songs of the same musical genre. Among the methods and methodologies that will serve as the basis for these activities, we find «Cooperative Learning», «Orff-Schulwerk» and «Active Musical Listening». The results show the effectiveness of this genre in its application to the classroom, concluding the need to investigate further and delve deeper with new learning situations.
