Abstract

[...]this is one of the missions that the Hospital was designed and built. Use of Elderly Health Care Vouchers in The University of Hong Kong[-]Shenzhen Hospital In 2009, the Hong Kong SAR Government established the Elderly Health Care Voucher (EHCV) Scheme to support its elderly residents. Since October 2015, to increase utilisation of the Scheme, the Hong Kong SAR Government has allowed eligible elderly patients to pay for treatment at HKU-SZH with their EHCVs. Since its launch, HKU-SZH has recorded over 45 000 EHCV patient episodes or outpatient attendances. Figure.
