Abstract

This study explores how ring-radial layouts in Dalian, China, and Paris, France, shape block morphology and performance. Analyzing the Zhongshan Square and Arc de Triomphe areas, the research identifies block types and compares their efficiency. Significant differences between the cities' morphologies affect block functionality, emphasizing the role of dense, multifunctional, and connected urban forms in enhancing spatial quality and performance.recommendations.
