Abstract
Investigamos a diferença contratual público-privada entre professores de Minas Gerais. Calculamos o Valor Presente do Contrato de Trabalho e o transformamos numa anuidade constante, o Valor Anual Equivalente. Realizamos, então, uma Oaxaca-Blinder para estimar o prêmio contratual dos servidores. Observamos prêmios positivos para todos os professores do sexo masculino, mas prêmios negativos para professoras do sexo feminino ensinos primário e médio. Também fazemos um exercício contrafactual para averiguar os impactos das regras previdenciárias sobre esse prêmio. Quando as regras de Previdência são harmonizadas, o prêmio médio reduz-se de 32,2% para 10,5%, sugerindo forte influência da Previdência sobre o prêmio contratual.
