Abstract

This study analyses stakeholder views on sustainable e-waste management for post-flood. The subject location is in Dusun Tua, Hulu Langat. Through series in-depth interviews with Department of Environmental (Hazardous Division), the local representative (Wakil Rakyat Dun Dusun Tua) and several e-waste collectors, the findings highlight the significant logistics and regulatory issues, financial constraints and environmental concerns that hinder sustainable e-waste management practices. The insights gained from this study provides a comprehensive understanding of the current household e-waste management landscape in Malaysia. This research contributes to the broader course on environmental management and disaster response, emphasizing the need of proper collaboration among stakeholder to create a better framework in addressing the complex challenges post by e-waste.
