1553 Interface cards for the PC/104 format

Data Device Corporation (DDC) is now offering single-function MIL-STD-1553 data bus interface cards for the PC/104 format. MIL-STD-1553 is the dual redundant data bus used on the majority of the western world's military aircraft and in many other space and defence systems. Built around DDC's high performance Enhanced Mini-ACE terminal, the BU-65568 has four dual-redundant bus controller/remote terminal/monitor (BC/RT/MT) channels. Both are 16-bit convection-cooled cards built in accordance with PC/104 specification Version 2.3 (Plate 4).
