Abstract
Cílem práce bylo zjistit, v jakých oblastech se profesně uplatňují absolventi Katedry sociální práce Filozofické fakulty Univerzity Karlovy v Praze a jak je studium připravilo pro praxi. Data byla získána formou dotazníkového šetření, které proběhlo v dubnu a květnu 2014. Z celkového souboru 232 osob, které ukončily studia v letech 2006 až 2013, byla získána data od 93 osob (návratnost 40 %). Výsledky ukázaly minimální nezaměstnanost absolventů a převahu jejich uplatnění ve státním sektoru. Výsledky dále naznačily, které znalosti a dovednosti absolventi potřebují v praxi v závislosti na profesní oblasti, ve které působí.
The goal of the work was to investigate in which areas graduates of Social Work Department of Faculty of Arts, Charles University in Prague, have been employed and how well they were prepared for the practice. Data were collected using the questionnaire survey carried out from April to May 2014. From the total sample of 232 persons who graduated from 2006 to 2013 we got data from 93 persons (40 % of respondence). Results showed minimal unemployment of graduates and the state sector as the area where they have been most frequently employed. Further the results indicated which knowledge and skills graduates use in their practice dependent on professional area in which they work.
