Abstract

In addition to reaching the primary goal of determining which plastic resins are found in electronics recovered from households, the APC reports a number of related findings useful to recycling businesses and electronics manufacturers. First, the study showed that contamination from such items as labels, coatings, and metals caused only 35 percent of the Hennepin County sample to be usable by MBA for further processing.
