Abstract

Code.org y turtle con Python fueron las herramientas de mayor preferencia para aprender a programar, por lo que resultan adecuados para la transición a un lenguaje de programación textual. Abstract: The aim of this work is to analyze different programming environments for beginning students that facilitate the development of computational thinking skills, program creation and transition to a text-based programming language. The study group consisted of 34 first-year students from the Professional School of Education of the National University of San Agustin de Arequipa. Keywords: computational thinking; problem solving; programming; programming environments; novice programmer. 1.Introducción Dentro de las habilidades esenciales en el siglo XXI se ha considerado el pensamiento computacional (Repenning, Basawapatna & Escherle, 2016) (Tsarava, et al. 2019), que puede contribuir a fomentar otras habilidades como pensamiento crítico y resolución de problemas (Bocconi, et al. 2016).
