Andersen Consulting 'wins' messy divorce

Abstract

The 2 1/2 year battle between the world's largest consulting firm, Andersen Consulting and its parent company, the world's largest accounting firm, Arthur Andersen, ended on August 7, 2000, with both sides claiming victory. The ruling, passed by the Paris-base International Chamber of Commerce, is binding on both sides and decrees that all links between the 2 firms will be severed immediately.
