Abstract

The case against an anthropocentric worldview posed by those espousing a radical ecocentric value structure through literature is critiqued. The radical egalitarianism of ecocentrism is dangerously close to nihilism and can, like anthropocentrism, be used as the foundation of oppressive ideologies.
