ABSTRACT:
Panic disorder is a type of anxiety disorder, in which the person feels of terror and agoraphobic situation. The panic attack is producing intense fear that begins suddenly and stays about 10-20 minutes. It is an onset attack and in patients may develop severe headache and you may feel as if you are losing control. In this article, suggest some important medicinal plants that are used in the treatment of panic disorders. The selection of best medicine is based on its side effect profile. The placebo and some therapy like as- Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) are used for the treatment of panic attack and some Ayurvedic medicines (like as- Jyotishmati, Shankapushpi, Brahmi, Ashwagandha and Bhringaraja) are reduce the symptoms of mentally disorder.

INTRODUCTION:
The Panic disorder is a type of anxiety disorder that causes repeated, unexpected attacks of intense fear, along with fear of having more attacks.[1] The people have suffered sudden attacks and produce suicidal thought in mind and its characterized by rapid onsetwithin minutes and short duration usually less than 10 to 15 minutes.[2] Patients with PD may exhibit irregularities in specific brain structures, change neuronal processes, and dysfunctional cortico limbic interaction during emotional processing. It can be very uncomfortable, attacking and unpleasant. The panic attack is very common in new generation and adult age because they aggressive in one a minute. When the panic attack is start most people try to get out of the particular situation, hoping the panic will stop, but some people want to be alone because they not comfortable feel in crowd area.[5]
Mostly people phase the first panic attack on a train and they avoid trains and buses travelling in the future. When this avoidance is widespread and severe, the condition is called Agoraphobia. The panic attack can occur one to several times in a week, usually unpredictably, and may disturb with the patients normal activities and work done.[7] According to the, Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders, 4th ed. (DSM-IV), the 1 to 3 percent people are affected from this disorder in the whole world.[8]
