A 48-year-old man with multiple sclerosis developed diabetes insipidus and other toxicities, after an overdose of baclofen and quetiapine.
The man was receiving baclofen, quetiapine [dosages, therapeutic indications and durations of treatment to reaction onset not stated] along with mirtazapine, gabapentin and salicylic acid, when he experienced a sudden loss of consciousness at home. He was brought to the emergency department obtunded, with a Glasgow Coma Scale score of 3. His respiratory rate was 5 breaths/minute, and he was hypoxic, hypothermic and mildly hypotensive.
