A 44-year-old cachectic man developed various toxicities, including hypothermia and hypoglycaemia, after intake of an olanzapine, paracetamol and bisoprolol overdose, and consequently developed refeeding syndrome and sepsis.
The man, who had a history of obsessive compulsive disorder, depression and schizotypal personality disorder, was hospitalised with a deliberate overdose of olanzapine, paracetamol and bisoprolol [routes and dosages not stated].
