Yin worked in a hospital in Beijing for five years where she developed her interest in clinical research. She then undertook a masters degree in public health at Washington University in the United States.
Her role on BMJ's China portal ( www.bmjchina.com.cn/journals/ ) will include engaging with researchers and authors in China and commissioning and contributing towards an annual China report.
