Abstract
Little groundwork has been laid for an anatomical appreciation of localization in the brain stem. [...]the chapter on that subject by Rowland has the burden of presenting this view of neuroanatomy for the first time. The book is organized according to levels of the nervous system, from spinal cord to cerebral cortex, with introductory chapters on meninges, cerebrospinal fluid, and gross anatomy and a final section on the blood supply.
