Abstract

Boston: Little, Brown, 1991), a basic condensed textbook for students and residents, and McCarthy's Plastic Surgery (Philadelphia: W.B. Saunders, 1989), an eight-volume compendium of plastic surgery for even the advanced practitioner, is there a need for another book on this subject? I would answer that question in the affirmative; however, significant lacunas exist.
