The letter asking me to review this book stated that it is billed as a comprehensive guide to energy conservation. My expectations were further heightened, when the hefty 1,500 page, US$199.95 book arrived in the mail.
The book is The Energy Efficiency Manual, by Donald R. Wulfinghoff. The first thing that I noticed, beside the weight, was inside the front and back covers was a convenient guide that explained how each of the 400 energy savings measures is handled in the book.
An overall score of A, B, C, or D is assigned to the measure for three conditions (new facility, retrofit, and operating & maintenance)....
